After 12 months of continuous employment you get 4 weeks' paid annual leave each year (Holidays Act 2003). It's paid at the greater of your ordinary weekly pay or your average weekly earnings over the last 12 months. Fixed-term workers of under a year, or with very irregular hours, can be paid 8% of gross earnings with each pay instead, if their agreement says so ($5,120 on your figures). When you leave, unused leave is paid out in your final pay.
